Where no water is

OBSERVE: Where NO water is, there is dryness, desert, and drought
BUT where there IS water, there is greenness, growth, and gladness.

The Word of God is compared to water (Ephesians 5:26 ..."the washing of water by the word").

How are you doing spiritually? Dry? Unfruitful? There may be drought in your land.

Psalm 1:2-3 tells us exactly how NOT to be dry and barren:

"But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Are you getting enough "water?"

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly ..." (Colossians 3:16) and be fruitful.

Get in the Word. Go BEYOND "reading." Meditate on it throughout the day and night, look at life around you with "Bible glasses." Walk in its light. Consider the things of the world from a biblical perspective. Ask yourself what God says about your questions. This is taking water to your dry soul.
